Sara Rey, Psychotherapist
Online and in-person sessions
Introduction
My name is Sara Rey and I am an Integrative Psychotherapist working with adults, young people and children. I have wide ranging experience supporting individuals and families through challenging issues in their lives including anxiety, trauma, bereavement and depression.
I am a United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) accredited Psychotherapist and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) . I currently work with clients in my private practice, building on over a decade of experience across a range of settings, including hospitals, schools, and charities. This diverse background has equipped me with a strong foundation in supporting clients facing a wide variety of complex personal challenges. I take a flexible approach to therapy, given that each client has a unique situation and needs . My goal is to foster a positive therapeutic relationship where my clients feel comfortable to share their personal lives, while working towards a more complete understanding of themselves and the challenges they face.
Developing a trusting and non-judgmental relationship with my clients is at the heart of my approach, and I see this as central to exploring difficult and personal issues . My sessions therefore prioritise creating a safe, non-judgmental space in which this can happen. As an integrative practitioner, I am able to draw on a wide range of theoretical perspectives to inform my work and to meet the needs of each individual client.
